At Heartily Committed Care, we support NDIS participants to take part in enjoyable and meaningful group and centre based activities. Our aim is to help participants build confidence, develop social skills, make connections and participate more actively in their community.
We understand that everyone has different interests, abilities and goals. Our support is person-centred and tailored to the individual, helping participants choose activities they enjoy while working towards their NDIS goals.
Depending on each participant’s interests, goals and support needs, activities may include:
Activities are planned according to participants’ individual needs, preferences and abilities.
Group activities can provide opportunities for participants to meet people, develop friendships and practise communication and social skills in a supportive environment.
Our support workers encourage participants to be involved in decisions about the activities they undertake. We focus on creating positive experiences that promote choice, inclusion and independence.
We understand that participating in groups or trying new activities can be different for everyone. Our team takes the time to understand each participant’s preferences, support needs and goals.
Where appropriate, we can work with participants, families and their support networks to identify activities that are meaningful and suitable for them.
We provide support across Western and Northern Melbourne, as well as surrounding areas.
